John Hus: A Threat toward the Western Church and Martyr The official meaning of a saint is ââ¬Å"a individual who penances something of incredible incentive for principleâ⬠; accordingly Jon Hus is without a doubt a saint (Merriam-Webster 1). His extreme thoughts grabbed the eye of thousands of devotees while all the while sabotaging center acts of the Church. His convictions prompted what is known as the Hussite Reformation and at last, his demise. John Husââ¬â¢s demise was requested by the Church since his strange standards took steps to scatter or even reduce a portion of the Churchââ¬â¢s power and would cause a plenitude of changes inside the strict framework all in all during the fifteenth century, and perhaps for eternity.
